"The talk station for a new generation"

Newstalk Managing Editor Patricia Monahan said: “Today’s results show Newstalk advancing its position as the talk station for a new generation.”

“While other talk stations see audience numbers fall, Newstalk is adding audience and they are listening for longer,” she said.

“Congratulations to Ciara Kelly, Shane Coleman and the Newstalk Breakfast team who have increased audience again. The well-deserved result sees them continue to grow as the most successful breakfast show in the station’s history.”
