Ruth Coppinger has taken her seat in the Dail for the fist time. The Socialist Party deputy defeated nine other candidates to win the Dublin-West by-election last Friday.
The vacancy arose following the resignation of independent TD Patrick Nulty in March.
Gabrielle McFadden of Fine Gael - who won the Longford-Westmeath by-election - will take her seat tomorrow.
