Netflix has announced that it will premiere a new documentary on The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards on September 18th.

Keith Richards: Under the Influence is the latest 'Netflix Original' documentary, and is directed by Morgan Neville. He previously directed 20 Feet from Stardom, an acclaimed documentary taking a look at the lives and influence of backing singers.

Neville said Richards "has always represented the soul of rock music - for all of the light and dark shades that implies. To my relief, Keith Richards turned out to be a real man - full of humour, knowledge and wisdom. That’s the real Keith we’ve worked to capture in our film."

The announcement came alongside the streaming site's reveal of their original content schedule for the rest of the year. Aziz Ansari's new series Master of None is set to premiere on November 6th, while a documentary series featuring Chelsea Handler - titled Chelsea Does - is 'coming soon'.

Marvel series Jessica Jones (starring Kyrsten Ritter and David Tennant), Bill Murray and Sofia Coppola's Christmas special A Very Murray Christmas, and a new animated series from Bill Burr - F is for Family - are all due before the end of the year, alongside a number of comedy specials and a final season of Hemlock Grove.

The company's adult animation series BoJack Horseman has also been renewed for a third season.
