After the huge critical success of Daredevil when it was released on Netflix in April this year, the streaming site is following it up with a super-powered private detective.

While the trailer below doesn't give too much away, we do know that the super-strength and flight-capable Jessica Jones will be played by Krysten Ritter - perhaps best known as the titular character from Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23 - with support from the likes of former Dr. Who David Tennant and The Matrix's Carrie Anne Moss.

All thirteen episodes of the series will be made available on Netflix from November 20th, and is merely the next step in the massive upcoming Marvel/Netflix slate.

Daredevil Season 2 is set to arrive some time in 2016, while Jessica Jones' boyfriend Luke Cage is getting his own series next year, too.

Then there's kung-fu master Iron Fist, which has no set release date, but he will be joining Daredevil, Jones and Cage for the next scheduled series The Defenders, which could be viewed as Netflix's answer to The Avengers.
