The LÉ Aisling reached the MV in the early hours of the morning and the vessels are currently on-route to the Shannon estuary.

The MV is under tow with a tug boat. The vessel is expected to arrive in port at between 5 and 6pm later today.

The Navy says weather conditions are rough to moderate, with poor visibility.
