This week we are asking who you would choose to replace Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear. From the names we had suggested, the results so far are indicating that Chris Evans would be the most popular vote, but apart from that the majority of you have chosen “Other” and next most popular was, "Jeremy who? I don't care."

Some of the suggestions, which were not on the original list, are beginning to make more sense. Apparently some bookies are taking odds on British motor cycle racer and TV presenter, Guy Martin. Mr Martin has been described by some as a “colourful character” and has presented shows such as “The Boat that Guy Built” and “Speed with Guy Martin”.

Steve Coogan and Rowan Atkinson also appeared in the comments box on a few occasions. Both of these bring good TV and car knowledge, so who knows?

We will keep the vote open until next week, so please keep your suggestions coming in. Below is the list of other people who some of you have suggested so far to replace Mr Clarkson;

Guy Martin (British motor cycle racer and recently a TV presenter), Enda Kenny (An Taoiseach), PJ Gallagher (Irish comedian), Steve Coogan (aka Alan Partridge) (x6), Oisín Tymon (Top Gear producer), Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) (x 2), Prince Charles, Claire Balding (Presenter, journalist and jockey), Vicky Butler Henderson (Racing driver and TV presenter), Ed China (Wheeler Dealers), Daniel Craig (James Bond), Chris Harris (DRIVE YouTube presenter), Bosco (TV legend), and Sabine Schmitz (German racing driver). One more came through Twitter where someone suggested Charlie Boorman would be a good stand in.

Two other comments received said; "I'd scrap the programme. No need for a show that celebrates petrol guzzling"; and "Nobody can replace him".
