Ever been offended by a rude Muscovite or found Marrakech's nightlife a dud? Well, you can take solace in not being the only one.

These are just some of the findings in this year's Tripadvisor City 'Best Experience for Tourists' Survey, which asked over 54,000 reviewers on their site to rate tourist destinations in a variety of categories.

Dublin makes a scant appearance on the list, appearing only to claim third place in the 'best taxi services' category. Bet you didn't expect that ranking!

Of the 37 cities featured, Moscow has finished bottom in more categories than any other. It ranks as the least friendly, the worst value for money and the city wight the worst hotels - not good news for a country that will already be suffering a decline in tourism due to the political events of the last few months.

The outstanding victor of the survey is Tokyo, which finished top three in nearly every category, proving the friendliest, cleanest and best overall of the bunch.
