A man and woman remain in Garda custody this morning in connection with the fatal shooting of Jason Doogue.
A man in his 40s was charged in relation to the incident at a special sitting of Naas District Court last night.
The 22-year-old was gunned down in the Greenhills estate of Athy last week in broad daylight.
In total five people have been arrested as part of the investigations - two have been released without charge.

Two men will appear before Limerick Distirct Court today charged with burglary after a man died in his home following a robbery.
The men, aged 31 and 28, with separate addresses in Limerick City, were charged with three counts of burglary and will appear in court at midday.
62-year old John O'Donoghue, was found dead at his home in Doon, Co Limerick on Thursday.
He died from an apparent heart attack.
