An under cover investigation carried out by the BBC has found secret groups of paedophiles actively posting and swapping pictures of children online.
According to the BBC, there are photographs of children - some explicit - on Facebook within 'private groups'.
Of the twenty images reported to Facebook, four were taken down while the others remained up.
The BBC reports the social media giant said the other pictures children reported did not breach its "community standards" .
