Police in County Down have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead last night.
A woman was also seriously injured in the attack on the Lower Dromore Road in Warrenpoint at 7:30pm.
She is being treated for her injuries in hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the shooting to come forward.

At least 21 people have died and 71 others were injured after a leaking oil pipeline triggered a huge fire in central Mexico.
The pipeline, in the town of Tlahuelilpan, 60 miles north of Mexico City, exploded after thieves drilled an illegal tap, according to state oil company Petroleos Mexicanos, or Pemex.
About 300 locals were rushing to steal the oil when the leak erupted into flames on Friday evening.
Video taken before the fire showed the oil spouting metres into the air as people approached with buckets at about 5pm local time.

The US President is due to sit down with the North Korean leader for a second summit next month.
The White House has announced plans for the meeting in February – however the location and date have yet to be revealed.
The news came after the President Donald Trump met Pyongyang's top nuclear negotiator in Washington yesterday.
He will use the summit to attempt to convince the Mr Kim to stop developing nuclear weapons, amid fears North Korean has not done enough since the last time the two men talked.

Meanwhile, the US Special Counsel Robert Mueller has issued a statement disputing the accuracy of a report claiming President Trump directed his former lawyer to lie to Congress.
BuzzFeed News, citing two unidentified law enforcement officials, reported on Thursday that the US president ordered Michael Cohen to lie about a Trump Tower project in Moscow they pursued during the 2016 presidential campaign.
In a statement, Mr Mueller’s office said Buzzfeed’s description of “specific statements” and “characterisation of documents and testimony” regarding Mr Cohen’s testimony were “not accurate.”
The statement did not cite any specific errors in the story.
President Trump described the statement as a very sad day for journalism, but a great day for our Country.”

2018 was a mixed year for house prices across the country, according to a new study.
The Irish Independent’s annual property price list has found that prices in Kilkenny jumped 22% in 2018.
In contrast, prices dropped by 5% in Dublin, 2% in Donegal and 1% in Mayo.
Increasing building costs and the number of new homes being built were some of the factors identified as having an impact on prices in each area.
