Nine people have been killed and many more injured in a shooting at a shopping centre in the German city of Munich.
Authorities say the Munich gunman was an 18-year-old German-Iranian who had been living in the city.
Munich police said the teenager's motive was "completely unclear".
"The perpetrator was an 18-year-old German-Iranian from Munich," police chief Hubertus Andrae told reporters after the massacre. He had lived in the city "for a while", Mr Andrae said.

Hillary Clinton has named Tim Kaine as her pick for the Democratic Party's vice-presidential nomination.
Mr Kaine, who had been widely tipped as her running mate in the lead-up to the official announcement, has previously served as Virginia governor and mayor of Richmond before he was elected to the US Senate in 2012.
Mrs Clinton told her Twitter followers she was "thrilled" to announce him as her VP, saying he has "devoted his life to fighting for others".

A special ceremony will take place to honour those who died for state service in Dublin today.
The changing of the guard ceremony will take place at the national memorial to members of the Defence Forces who died in service, on Merrion Square, at midday.
The event will involve the playing of the 'Last Post' and 'Reveille', as well as the raising of the National Flag.
