Pair to appear in court charged in connection with stolen car hitting garda
A man and woman are due to appear in court this morning this charged in relation to an incident in Dublin, which left a Garda seriously injured.
The officer has suffered hip and leg injuries after being hit by a stolen car at around 11 o'clock on Saturday night in Balbriggan.
He is receiving treatment at Beaumont Hospital.
Wes Craven dies, age 76
Wes Craven, the famed film director has died at his home in Los Angeles.
The 76-year-old had been battling brain cancer.
He was best known for creating some of the best known and loved films of the horror genre in recent decades, including "A Nightmare On Elm Street" and the "Scream" movies.
