After months of negotiations, it will become clear today whether there will be a new government.

Members of Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Green Party have had their say on the programme for government, with votes to be counted today.

Each party has a different number of votes to count with results expected over the course of the evening.

If all three parties get the green light, Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin will be elected Taoiseach at a special sitting of the Dáil tomorrow morning.

Two people have died in a road crash in Limerick city.

Gardaí say the crash, involving a car and a bike, happened on the Hyde Road in Roxboro around midnight last night.

The cyclist, a man in his 20s, and the driver of the car who is under 18, both died.

The road remains closed and diversions are in place.

Almost 14,000 people have been receiving Jobseeker's Allowance for at least the past 10 years.

Just over 4,000 are in Dublin, while there are almost a thousand in Cork and 872 in Donegal.

The Department of Social Protection says a further 18,200 people have been getting the payment for between six and ten years.

Fianna Fáil's social protection spokesman, Willie O'Dea, says the state hasn't put enough emphasis on the long-term unemployed.

An infectious diseases expert has said travel England and the US should continue to be restricted to next month.

The Government has decided to allow foreign travel to resume between some countries from July 9th.

A 'green list' of states will be drawn up in the next two weeks – with anyone travelling to the approved countries to be exempt from the 14-day quarantine rule.

RCSI Professor Sam McConkey is warning that international travel should be re-introduced very cautiously.

The PSNI hasn't ruled out the possibility a 14-year-old Belfast teenager has been abducted.

Noah Donohoe hasn't been seen since Sunday evening, when he fell off his bike and sustained a head injury in the north of the city.

It's still a missing person's inquiry, but police say it's possible he's being held against his will.

A major search is continuing today, and Belfast MP John Finucane's hoping for a positive outcome.
