Morning top 5: 83 killed in temple fire in southern India; Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil will meet this week to discuss how a minority government might work

India's government says 83 people have been killed and 350 injured in a fire at a temple in the south of the country.

Officials in the state of Kerala say fireworks inside the building ignited - causing part of it to collapse.

The temple was crowded with people celebrating a festival of which the firework display was a major attraction.

Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil will meet early this week to discuss how a minority government might work.

The agreement comes following preliminary discussions between the two parties yesterday.

Last night, they issued separate statements, saying they would be meeting to discuss how a minority government would operate.

However, it's not yet clear whether Fine Gael is now willing to support a Fianna Fáil-led government if it wins the support of enough independent TDs.

Four of the six men arrested on Friday over attacks in Brussels and Paris have been charged with terror offences, including Mohamed Abrini.

He was wanted in connection with the attacks in Paris, that killed 130 people last November.

Belgian authorities say he has now admitted to being the so-called 'Man in the Hat', the third bomber seen in a video clip in the Brussels airport attacks.

He was pictured on CCTV with two suicide bombers moments before the explosions killed 16 people.

The winners of the 2016 IFTA Awards were announced at a ceremony in the The Mansion House in Dublin last night.

The big winner was Room, produced by Element Pictures in Ireland, the film received awards for Best Film, Best Film Script for Emma Donoghue, Best Director, Editing and Original Music.

Liam Neeson was also honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award which was presented to him by President Michael D Higgins.

Actress and humanitarian Roma Downey came away with the Irish Diaspora Award, presented to her by musician and fellow humanitarian Bob Geldof.

While director of the Survivalist, Stephen Fingleton, won the Irish Film Board Rising star award and Ben Cleary's Stutterer won Best Short Film.
