More than 1,500 firefighters are tackling a wildfire in California that have threatened the homes of more than 82,000 people.
Officials say flaming "firenadoes" are tearing across the brush.
The 'Blue Cut Fire' is currently affecting 25,626 acres of land, according to the incident page for the blaze.
34,500 homes have been evacuated. It has not yet known how many properties have been destroyed or damaged.
A state of emergency has been declared, with officials saying there is an "imminent threat to public safety, rail traffic and structures" in a number of areas.
The fire has been raging since Tuesday, but the cause remains unclear.
It is believed it may have been sparked by severe drought across the region.
