More than 1,000 homes are without power this morning as high winds continue to affect the south and west.
Carrigaline in Co Cork is the worst-affected area with more than 900 homes now off the grid.
ESB Networks has apologised to anyone whose service has been disrupted and says its engineers are working to restore power as quickly as possible.

Met Éireann says a Status Orange warning remains in place for exposed western coasts until 9 o'clock this morning - with gusts of up to 120 kilometres per hour forecast.
A yellow wind warning for all of Ireland is also still in place until 9am.
