Today
Rain in the west will extend to all parts this morning. A clearance to scattered showers will spread from the west this afternoon but it will become very windy or even stormy during the afternoon over the southern half of the country in gale force southwest winds with severe and possibly damaging gusts.
Highest temperatures ranging from 8 degrees in the north to 15 degrees in the south.
Tonight
Very windy in the east early tonight with gale force westerly winds and further severe gusts. Winds will ease everywhere before midnight, but they will back southwest overnight and become strong again with gales on coasts.
The night will start mainly dry, however later in the night rain will arrive in the west.
Mild in most parts with lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees, but colder in the north with lows of 3 to 6 degrees.
