Monday will be another cold but mostly sunny day - frost and ice clearing in the morning. Although most areas will stay fully dry, some showers will occur too - mainly across east Leinster and north Ulster, and some wintry on higher ground. 

Highest temperatures of only 4 to 7 degrees, in a light northerly breezes, moderate near coasts.

Very cold and frosty tonight, with some icy patches. Dry over much of the country but some showers will occur too, mainly across Ulster, again some wintry on higher ground here.

Lowest temperatures of -4 to +1 degrees, coldest across the southern half of the country, with longest clearest spells occurring here. Westerly breezes will be light.
