Today
A damp or a wet start to Monday for many places with overnight rain continuing for a time - rain heaviest over Ulster. Somewhat breezy in the south and east at first too. The rain will tend to clear eastwards this morning. However the day will remain rather cloudy with a scattering of showers following, mainly affecting the eastern half of the country, some of which may turn heavy across the Greater Dublin Region.
Some evening sunshine breaking through in the north and west, possibly some brighter spells developing elsewhere. Highs of 15 to 19 degrees Celsius, mildest in the south of Leinster, with winds decreasing light northwest later
Tonight
Patchy outbreaks of rain early tonight, mainly in the east to begin, later feeding up from the south, turning more persistent again towards morning. Much of Ulster however will stay fully dry. Mist and low cloud also with little or no wind. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 13 degrees Celsius (cool in the north, mild further south)
