A Dublin Councillor is again calling on RTÉ to make some of its land available for modular housing.
Five sites have so far been identified for 153 prefabs, in Drimnagh, Ballymun, Coolock, Finglas and Ballyfermot.
500 homes are to be provided in total.
RTÉ has said its land is not suitable, as it would disrupt filming.
Sinn Féin's Chris Andrews says a report identified the RTÉ site as a possibility.
"The site in Donnybrook for RTÉ...40% of it was under-utilised" he said.
"And I think that what we need from RTÉ in relation to modular housing is less hand-wringing and more action".
"We need to think outside the box in relation to this particular project - and there has to be a serious engagement among these big institutions that have fairly vast land-holdings" he added.
