Met Eireann has issued two weather warnings across parts of the country.
A status orange snow-ice alert remains in place for Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Offaly, Westmeath and Meath with accumulations of up to 3 centimetres likely in places.
The weather forecaster has also issued a yellow snow-ice warning for Munster, Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny, Louth, Wexford and Wicklow.

The warnings will remain in place until tomorrow evening.
