Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for heavy rain on the south coast on Friday.
Falls of up to 30 millimetres are likely over Cork and Waterford.
There will be further heavy showers on Saturday and Met Eireann says this could lead to spot flooding.

It also says rain tomorrow along the south-west and south will slowly push northwards affecting Munster, Connacht and south Leinster.
It will be cloudy and breezy as east to south-easterly winds become fresh and gusty.
But it will be humid with top temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees.
