A Mental Health Reform group says measures to restrict the use of electro-convulsive therapy are very welcome.
The Minister for Mental Health has announced she's to ask the Government to change the legislation around the use of ECT.
Kathleen Lynch says a patient's wishes in how they are treated must be respected.
