It seems Irish women are happy for men to take the wheel while abroad.

According to a survey from AA Travel Insurance, men are far more confident on the road in ‘right-hand drive’ countries.

38 per cent of around 10 thousand motorists surveyed were happy enough to take the wheel, with some even saying they find it more natural to drive on the other side of the road.

But 25 per cent of women confess that they’re just too nervous to drive abroad.
