Meath gardaí are investigating a single vehicle crash in which a man died.
It happened on the N3 just before 5.00pm at Clownstown on the Dunshauhlin to Navan road.
The driver of the car, a man aged in his 30s, was seriously injured when the car he was driving struck a wall.
He was taken to Navan General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators examined the scene earlier.
The road has fully re-opened following the collision.
