Sinn Fein says it will continue to fight the elections until the polling booths close.

Despite making massive gains in the latest opinion poll - the party's Deputy Leader is adamant that every vote will count.

Mary-Lou Mc Donald has given a cautious welcome to The Behaviour and Attitudes survey for the Sunday Times, which shows Sinn Fein has more than doubled it's support in the last five years.

The poll of 1,545 voters was conducted between May 3rd and 14th.

Party Leader Gerry Adams was arrested two weeks ago in connection with the IRA death of Jean Mc Conville in 1972 - after four days of PSNI questioning at the serious crime suite in Antrim, he was released without charge.

Mary-Lou Mc Donald says Deputy Adams's arrest has not not had any major affect on Sinn Fein's election campaign.
