A man has been killed in a road crash in Co Mayo.
It happened when the car he was driving crashed into a tree on the old Ballina to Foxford road just outside Ballina.
The 20-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene at around 6.30pm yesterday evening.

A post mortem will be carried out later today.
The road is closed for a technical examination and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
