Gardaí have uncovered a cannabis grow house at a abandoned premises in County Mayo.

Over 500 plants worth around €400,000 were seized at the property in Ballinastanford, Claremorris this afternoon.

Investigators said the premises had been fitted out to “facilitate large scale production” with insulation lighting and heating.

No arrests have yet been and the investigation is ongoing.
