A man was shot with a pellet gun after a gang of masked men burst into his home in Co Donegal.
The raiders burst into the man's home in the village of St Johnston yesterday evening at around 5pm.
They shot him at close range with what is believed to have been a pellet gun.

The man - who is in his 40s - was also beaten with bats before the gang fled the scene empty-handed.
The man was rushed to Letterkenny General Hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The area was cordoned off on Saturday and a full technical examination was carried out at the scene.
