A man has been injured in a shooting in Co Wicklow.

It happened on St Laurence's Terrace in Bray at about 8.45pm on Wednesday night.

A man, said to be aged in his late 20s or early 30s, has been taken from the scene by ambulance.

His condition is not known.

Gardaí are at the scene of the incident.

The area has been sealed off and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Bray Garda Station.
