A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was struck by a car in west Dublin this morning.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision on the Ninth Lock Road in Clondalkin at around 8:15am.
The 31-year-old man was seriously injured in the collision and was taken to Tallaght Hospital.
Gardaí said the occupants of the car were uninjured.

The road was closed for a time for technical examination – however it has since reopened.
