A man is in a critical condition after being stabbed in Dublin last night.
He had been attending a bonfire in Blanchardstown when the incident occurred.
At about 7.30pm last night emergency services were called to the bonfire at Drumheath in Blanchardstown.
There they found a man with serious stab injuries.
He was rushed to the nearby James Connolly Hospital, where his condition is described as critical.
The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Blanchardstown station on 01 6667000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111, or any Garda station.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
