A 52-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed in a Dublin estate last night. 

The man was attacked at a house on Belcamp Green in Coolock shortly after midnight, gardaí confirmed.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and no arrests have been made to date. 

The scene of the assault has been preserved for a technical examination.
