A man has been found not guilty of murdering his friend at a flat in north Dublin, but guilty of impeding the prosecution.
Peter Gunn was found in a water filled ditch in Cabra, near Dublin Airport, after being stabbed in the heart in January 2009.
From the stand earlier this week, Alan Harte of Claireville Grove in Glasnevin admitted helping to get rid of Peter's body but denied killing him.
Mr. Gunn's body was found 11 days after he was stabbed to death inside a flat in Cabra Park on January 4th 2009.
Mr. Harte told the jurors he was innocent and accused his Albanian friend, Kastriot Boza, of killing him after being insulted by the victim earlier that night.
After just over two hours of deliberations, the jury acquitted Mr. Harte of murder but found him guilty of impeding the prosecution.
He has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced next month.
