A man has been found dead in a tent in Dublin City Centre.

Gardaí discovered the man’s body at Loftus Lane, between Bolton Street and Parnell Street, at around 3am this morning.

An investigation is now underway into the circumstances surrounding his death.

His body remains at the scene and the coroner has been notified.

A post-mortem is due to be carried out later.
