A man has died following a workplace incident in Waterford earlier today.
The incident happened in Newtown in Kilmacthomas shortly after 11.30am.
The man was working on a car that rolled off a hoist, causing him serious head and chest injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
