A man has died and a woman is seriously injured in hospital following a house fire in south Dublin this afternoon.
The blaze broke out about 3:40pm at a house on the Dundrum Road.
Four fire engines attended the scene.

Two people were given first aid by firefighter-paramedics at the scene after being removed from the house, but the man could not be resuscitated.
The woman's been taken to hospital, with her condition described as serious.
A forensic fire investigation is now set to be carried out at the scene.
