A man has died following a single vehicle crash in south Dublin.
It happened just outside Brittas, Co. Dublin.
The man (21) was one of five travelling in a car that crashed into a tree on the N81 at around 2.40am this morning.
The four others - aged 19, 20, 21 and 22 - were taken to Tallaght and St Vincent's hospitals - but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Local diversions are in place and the N81 is closed between Brittas and the Citywest junction - both ways - pending a technical examination.

Meanwhile, the Garda Ombudsman Commission is investigating after a woman died after a seperate accident on Dublin city's northside.
