A man has died after he was found unconscious in the MacGillicuddy Reeks in County Kerry yesterday.
It is believed the man was climbing alone when he became ill.
He was unresponsive when found by another climber on the ridge between Carrauntoohill and Caher Mountain at around 5.30pm.

Members of the Kerry Mountain Rescue team and the Coastguard helicopter from Shannon attended the scene and the man was airlifted to Kerry General hospital.
He was later pronounced dead and a post mortem is expected to be carried out to determine the cause of his death.
