A 26-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Geila Ibram. 

Ms Ibram, who was also 26 and originally from Romania, was found dead at a residential property on Dock Road, in Limerick City on Tuesday. 

She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was removed for a post-mortem. 

The Police Service of Northern Ireland have been assisting An Garda Síochána with their enquiries and arrested the suspect on Thursday. 

He will appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning.
