Gardaí arrested a man in his 20s and he is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning at 10.30am.

The search was a result of ongoing operations undertaken by the Dublin Crime Response Team targeting the sale and supply of illicit drugs in the Dublin region.

All of the drugs seized will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis and investigations are ongoing.

This seizure forms part of Operation Tara, an enhanced national anti-drugs strategy, which was launched by Garda Commissioner Drew Harris in July 2021.

The focus of Operation Tara is to disrupt, dismantle and prosecute drug trafficking networks involved in the importation, distribution, cultivation, production, local sale and supply of controlled drugs.
