A 26-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí on suspicion of the murder following a fatal assault in Tallaght last month.
34-year-old Vincent Parsons from Clondalkin died on the evening of August 26th, having been discovered in the Killenarden estate with serious head injuries two days earlier.
Gardaí believe he was attacked during an incident in and around a nearby pub where he had been socialising.

The man arrested today is being held at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
It is the second arrest as part of the investigation - a 24-year-old man has previously been released without charge.
Investigations are ongoing.
