Man arrested in Navan in relation to serious assault on Watergate Street, Navan, Co. Meath on 24th August.
An Garda Síochána arrested a 22 year old Male, this morning, Sunday the 25th of August in connection with a serious assault that occurred in Navan, on the 24th of August.
He is currently being detained in Navan Garda station under Section four of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

The injured party remains in Beaumont Hospital, where his condition is described as critical.
