The 45-year-old suspect was detained by detectives investigating the murder of Kevin Kearney.

Mr. Kearney was shot dead and his body dumped in a lake at Alexandra Park.

Dissident republicans claimed they carried out the killing.

Detectives investigating the murder of Kevin Kearney at Alexandra Park in north Belfast last Tuesday have arrested a 45 year old man.
