Gardaí have arrested a man following a robbery which occurred at premises on Parnell Square in Dublin yesterday.

A man entered a premise and threatened staff with a bladed implement before fleeing the scene with an amount of cash at approximately 1:15pm. 

The man 36-year-old man was arrested a short time later close to the scene and an amount of cash was recovered. 

He is currently detained at Mountjoy Garda Station.
