A man and a woman have been injured in a stabbing incident in Clonee, Co Dublin.

Gardaí were called to a house in the Bramblefield Park area at around 8 o'clock this evening.

A man in his late 40s and a woman in her late 20s were taken to Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown with non life-threatening injuries.

A man in his late 20s was arrested at the scene. He is being questioned at Blanchardstown Garda station.
