One English man veered away from the cliché and proposed through an enormous sand art-piece.

According to the Cornish Guardian, Mike Wakefield, from , spent two hours constructing this masterpiece for his girlfriend India - who of course said 'yes.'

Amazingly, the groom-to-be doesn't even have experience in sand crafting, says India:

"Mike has loads of hidden talents. He has never done sand art before, but he can turn his hand to anything. I was shocked and I did have a tear in my eye. It was quite emotional."
