A man accused of murdering his landlord in Dublin is still not well enough to come to court. Italian native Saverio Bellante is being treated at the Central Mental Hospital after being charged with the murder of Tom O'Gorman two months ago.

Mr. O'Gorman was found dead in his house at Beech Park Avenue in Castleknock in the early hours of January 12th.

A post mortem revealed he had been beaten and stabbed to death.

Mr. Bellante (34), who is originally from Palermo, rented a room at Mr. O'Gorman's house.

He was arrested and charged with his murder. He was admitted to the Central Mental Hospital and was unable to attend a scheduled court appearance today.

The court heard the book of evidence in his case is almost ready and the matter was put back for another two weeks.
