A man in his 80s has died following a crash in Co Cork overnight.
The single-vehicle crash happened in the Kilbonane area of Aherla.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body has been removed to Cork University Hospital.

A post-mortem exam is due to be carried out later.
The road where the crash happened remains closed this morning to allow for a forensic examination of the scene.
