A man in his 70s has died following a crash in Co Roscommon in the early hours of this morning.
It happened when a car struck a wall at Ballyforan at around 4:50am.
The driver was taken to Roscommon University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A post mortem is set to take place later today.
A woman who was a passenger in the car was not injured.
Gardaí say the road remains closed to allow for a forensic examination of the scene.
Local diversions remain in place, with AA Roadwatch reporting that the road is expected to remain closed until later this afternoon.
